CEDAR FALLS -- Pre'cieux Art Jewelers believes in offering customers an educated choice of quality and price ranges to choose from, rather than being a part of the current trend of misrepresenting the quality of diamonds to make the consumer believe they're getting a better price than they really are.

Owner Dave Cuter would like the public to know that while they aren't the biggest, they are the most competitive when competing honestly. "In fact we won't be beat even by the overseas owned stores or the Internet sites," he said. "We offer standard and custom designs many times at more than half the designer prices, and the quality, no one even comes close to our standards, americians can compete with anyone,  if quality is put into the product design and not overcharged for."

Cutler received the Congressional National Leadership Award in Washington, D.C. in 2003, and in 2005 won a businessman of the year award from the U.S. Congressional leadership, and was appointed in 2004 as a honorary chairman of the Presidents Business Advisory Council and in 1984 founded the Cedar Valley Wetlands Nature Foundation committed to restoring the Canada goose, trumpeter swan, and all wetland associated habitat. Dave believes nature offers a lot of beauty, including gemstones and gold etc. "It's kind of sad that some folks look at nature or gemstones as something you look at but don't take much time to really appreciate," he said., "as they are both  rare and valueable and many times irreplaceable.
